Dr. Omar Dessouki, MD, FRCS(C) (Orthopaedics)

Dr. Dessouki is an orthopaedic surgeon licensed to practice in the province of Ontario and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed his undergraduate degree in cell biology as well as his MD degree at the University of Western Ontario. His orthopaedic surgical residency was completed at the University of Toronto. He pursued sub-specialty training with two fellowships at the University of Toronto at St. Michael’s Hospital in traumatology and upper and lower limb reconstruction. Dr. Dessouki is currently the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery, Adult Reconstruction and Trauma Sports Medicine at the Lakeridge Health System. He has an extremely busy practice with specific focus on complex trauma, post-traumatic reconstruction, upper and lower limb joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, and sports medicine.
