Ian Wollach, CPA, CA•IFA, MBA, CFE (IRB Accounting Reports)
A partner in Litigation and Valuation Services at RSM Canada, Ian Wollach provides PDAC with his expertise in computing the value of clients’ past income replacement benefit (IRB) entitlements, due to their motor vehicle accident, pursuant to Subsection 7(4) of the SABS regulations.
Mr. Wollach practices in the areas of personal injury and other damages claims, economic loss quantification and forensic and investigative accounting services. He specializes in litigation support services, determining economic loss and damages for purposes of personal injury and corporate / commercial claims. Ian also assists in resolving disputed no-fault motor vehicle insurance claims and in addition to a variety of published articles, has presented numerous sessions on topics related to insurance and economic loss issues.
A CPA, CA, with an MBA majoring in economics and finance, and designated by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada as a specialist in investigative and forensic accounting, Mr. Wollach has provided expert witness testimony on over 140 occasions. He has given testimony on business losses, damages, wrongful death and economic loss and related issues, for plaintiffs, defendants and insurers.
Has also been a frequent speaker, and has also written extensively on, topics related to no-fault benefit entitlements, the calculation of personal injury and business losses and associated economic issues.
