Dr. Wayne Potashner, MD, FRCP (Rheumatology)

Dr. Wayne Potashner is a duly qualified rheumatologist in the province of Ontario who has been practicing rheumatology for 24 years. In 1985 he obtained his medical degree at the University of Toronto, followed by internal medicine training and a designation in rheumatology. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a member of the Canadian Rheumatology Association and the Ontario Rheumatology Association.

Dr. Potashner is credited with several publications on the subjects of vasculitis and osteoarthritis. He holds a lecturer role at the University of Toronto as well as a clinical teacher position at North York General Hospital, and is affiliated with Sunnybrook Medical Centre. His practice is general rheumatology, including inflammatory diseases and mechanical problems such as osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, in addition to soft tissue injury.
