Bonnie Koreen, B.Sc., O.T. Reg. (Ont.), CCLCP (OT In-Home / Future Care Cost Analysis / Catastrophic Impairment)

Ms. Koreen is an OT carrying out In-Home/Attendant Care Assessments, Future Care Cost Analysis and Determination of Catastrophic Impairment. She holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing, and a member of The Ontario Society of occupational Therapists. She completed a Post-Graduate Certification Program from the Sprott School of Business and Carleton University in Life Care Planning and has earned the credential of Certified Life Care Planner from the Commission on Health Care Certification. She is also Internationally Certified in Impairment and Disability Rating based on the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 4th edition.

Ms. Koreen’s practice includes assessment/ provision of rehabilitation services for individuals who have sustained traumatic injuries resulting in cognitive, physical, behavioural and/or psychological problems as well as supervision of occupational therapy associates. In addition, she has prepared hundreds of Future Care and Costs Analysis (FCC)/Life Care Plans for use in rehabilitation planning, mediation, arbitration, settlement discussion and litigation. She is the co-author of Sprains, Strains and Automobiles: A Medically Illustrated Guide to Commonly Litigated Injuries published by Carswell/Thomson Reuters in November 2011. Ms. Koreen has provided testimony as an expert witness in Ontario on multiple occasions.
